Legendary Hollywood “Super agent” Michael Ovitz has always had an eye for spotting talent, and quality. Whether it came to spotting rising actors, and directors, and packaging blockbuster Oscar-winning films, his blue-chip art collection, or his watch collection, Michael Ovitz has “the eye”.
Patek Philippe is famous for making custom watches for various despots. Famously, Patek has made custom dial Ellipse watches for butcher dictators such as Saddam Hussein, Ghadaffi, Syria’s Assad. What other watchmaker would be fitting for the King of Hollywood? Michael Ovitz was the undisputed ruler of Hollywood during the 80’s and 90’s. We’re not fans of his choice of Breguet numerals, but having your initials “MO” discreetly added to the dial is a nice touch.
